iRuneCore is designed for anonymous, short-lived file sharing. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process and why.

2. Data we process

• Uploaded files — file content, original filename, size, and content type, stored until expiry or deletion.
• Share metadata — file id, chosen plan, timestamps, download count.
• Technical logs — may include IP address, user agent, and request times for security and abuse prevention.
• Cookie consent — your consent choice stored locally and/or in an essential cookie.

3. What we do not require

We do not require accounts, names, or email addresses to use the Service.

4. Why we process data

• to provide file upload, sharing, and download
• to enforce size, capacity, and expiry limits
• to secure the Service and prevent abuse
• to remember cookie consent preferences

5. Retention

Uploaded files and their metadata are deleted after the selected expiry (10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour), or sooner if you delete them or we remove them for policy or capacity reasons.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. File content is accessible to anyone who has the share link.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect stored files, but no system is perfectly secure. Do not upload highly sensitive data you cannot afford to expose via a leaked link.

8. Your choices

• Do not upload content you do not want shared.
• Keep share links private.
• Delete a file early via the API when available.
• Manage cookie preferences via the cookie banner or by clearing site data.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
